NO MESSING AROUND HERE!

Greg Earls has started on the new addition to Manitou Beach Village! The New building will offer a fun nautical theme and three, 1000 sq. ft. commercial spaces.

We had a lot of action in the Village this past year with the addition of Jenni’s Coffee and Cream, Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, The Farmers Market, the Devils Lake Festival of the Arts, the Car Show, and many more fun events to come.
The Manitou Bar and Grill has also enhanced their menu so we are all on a roll!

Exciting news!
NEW LOCAL PURE MICHIGAN RADIO SPOT WITH TIM ALLEN

The Lenawee County Conference and Visitors Bureau is partnering with Travel Michigan, the state’s tourism – marketing arm, this fall to produce a radio spot to promote tourism to the area. The Pure Michigan ads, recorded by actor Tim Allen, will begin playing in targeted areas in the Great Lakes region this September.

Travel Michigan has found success with the Pure Michigan ad campaign, attracting 4 million visitors from outside the state in 2013. All of the ads direct people to visit the state’s website michigan.org Partner organizations are featured on the home page and direct people to the local area’s website.
LENAWEE COUNTY CVB will be listed as a hot spot under the name “IRISH HILLS” as Travel Michigan aims to brand the area with an easy name and one that is recognizable nationwide, thanks to Michigan International Speedway.

This is a great opportunity to showcase local attractions and festivals throughout the Irish Hills. Bringing more visitors to our area is a such wonderful benefit!
