I have been asked many times what this new building next to Devils Lake View Living so here is the story. Mike Appling from Devils Lake Watersports owns this building and has for many years. Last year he decided to give it an exterior facelift so that it looks great like the other buildings in Manitou Beach Village. While is really is not a Sea Food Company nor a Cannery, it does house the Manitou Beach Farmers Market each Saturday during the summer. It will also be the location for the “Rockin the Hills” Craft Beer Festival on Aug 1st from 3p-9p, sponsored by The Brooklyn Irish Hills Chamber of Commerce.

We are so appreciative that Mike chose to invest in his building and add to the beautification of the village. Of course, none of this would be taking place without Dave Gajda and Jose Malagon who have designed and invested in rebuilding the village. They brought the village back to life!!!—and there is more to come!

Pure-Michigan1
We are excited to announce that the Manitou Beach Village has been featured in the “Six Pure Michigan Activities to Experience in Lenawee County” campaign! Here’s a little look at the article:

Devil’s Lake located less than 10 miles south of the track off of US-223, with a public boat access located on Southwest shore off Devils Lake Hwy (Across the street from 9555 Devils Lake Hwy, Manitou Beach). Manitou Beach is a great place for a bike ride, with stops at Jenni’s Coffee and Cream for an iced coffee or ice cream cone. Enjoy lunch or dinner at Manitou Bar and Grill and shopping at Devils Lake View Living, and The Buoy at The Lake which both offer jewelry, purses, home décor and more.

NO MESSING AROUND HERE!

Greg Earls has started on the new addition to Manitou Beach Village! The New building will offer a fun nautical theme and three, 1000 sq. ft. commercial spaces.

We had a lot of action in the Village this past year with the addition of Jenni’s Coffee and Cream, Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, The Farmers Market, the Devils Lake Festival of the Arts, the Car Show, and many more fun events to come.
The Manitou Bar and Grill has also enhanced their menu so we are all on a roll!
